Personal Experience
Lisa brings more than 25 years of legal experience to her role at Turner Stack & Caplin, with a professional background that reflects both deep legal knowledge and a genuine commitment to serving families during difficult transitions.
Lisa grew up in Blanding, Utah, and graduated from San Juan High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where she also obtained an Elementary Education teaching certificate. Her early training in education continues to inform her work today, particularly in matters involving children and family dynamics.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Lisa returned to school and received her Paralegal Certificate from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has since spent more than two decades working as a paralegal in a wide range of practice areas, including criminal law, business law, estate planning, family and domestic law, employment law, municipal law, and civil litigation.
Lisa now focuses her practice on family law, where she combines her extensive legal experience with a compassionate, client-centered approach. She understands that family law matters are deeply personal and often emotionally charged, especially when children are involved. Lisa is known for taking the time to listen carefully, explain the legal process clearly, and help clients feel informed and supported at every stage of their case.
Her background in education and her years of hands-on legal experience allow her to approach family law matters with both practical insight and empathy. Lisa is committed to helping clients protect their interests while also prioritizing outcomes that support children’s stability and well-being.
