Nicolas D. Turner has spent most of his life in Southern Utah and brings a practical, people-centered approach to family law. A graduate of Pine View High School, Mr. Turner earned his Associate of Arts degree from Dixie State College (now Utah Tech University) in St. George and his bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University in Cedar City. He received his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington, in 2009.
After returning to St. George, Mr. Turner joined Gary G. Kuhlmann & Associates, P.C., the predecessor firm to Turner Law, PC, and Turner Stack & Caplin, where he began building a practice focused on helping individuals and families navigate difficult transitions. Mr. Turner is particularly experienced in collaborative divorce and mediation, and he works closely with clients to find solutions that reduce conflict, protect children, and allow families to move forward with dignity.
Known for his problem-solving mindset, Mr. Turner believes that many family-law matters can be resolved outside the courtroom through thoughtful negotiation and cooperation. When litigation becomes necessary, he remains a steady and effective advocate, always focused on achieving practical, long-term outcomes for his clients.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Turner has previously taught courses in business law and personal finance at Dixie State University, as well as training courses at the Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) Academy. He has also served the community through his involvement on the Alumni Board of Dixie State University.
