Personal Experience
Since immigrating from Ireland as a child, Peter Stack has been a lifelong resident of Utah, with deep roots in the Southern Utah community. He represents clients in family law and criminal defense matters, bringing a balanced and informed perspective shaped by experience in both prosecution and defense.
Peter completed his undergraduate education at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, where he graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law Studies. He also minored in Public Administration and Business Administration. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2017.
After law school, Peter returned to St. George and began his legal career as an associate attorney at Turner Law, where he focused on family law and domestic relations matters. In 2020, he accepted a position with the Washington County Attorney’s Office, serving as a state prosecutor. In that role, Peter prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, including drug offenses, theft, traffic matters, and violent crimes.
Following his service as a prosecutor, Peter returned to private practice to represent clients in family law matters while also serving as a Public Defender for indigent criminal defendants throughout Washington County. His experience on both sides of the courtroom allows him to provide practical, strategic, and effective representation tailored to each client’s unique situation.
Peter is admitted to practice law in Utah and is an active member of several professional legal organizations.
